Cheerios

The other day i gave Leiland cheerios to see how he did. They were more a toy than anything. I gave him a few to eat and he was confused but he gummed away at them with no trouble. I've offered them maybe 4 other times. Usually he ate about 4. Today he had them again and was opening him mouth for another and another. By the end of our meal he must have had 20 and even fed himself about 3 or 4 for himself. Im so proud he is learning. My big boy.

12 month clothes

Leiland is pretty much out of his 6-9 month clothes completely and fully in 12 month clothes. All of a sudden his 9m stuff is too short in the legs and the 12m aren't too big anymore. He looks so cute in his new little boy clothes.

Scootung

I've been trying to show Leiland he could move if he digs his toes in the ground. He can do it when he lays on me just not on the floor. Well this week he made progress and is up on his elbows now. Today i put my hand behind his feet and he kept pushing off me to scoot forward. He also adjusted his arms with each scoot. This is progress for him because usually he pushes but doesn't go anywhere. Im so proud of my little man. He will be crawling in no time

Photos with friends

Today some of the moms from the moms group met to do 6 month photos together. We went to this great little place and I am pretty pleased, I hope they are too. These are the ones I took of the kiddos. Leiland will be up later.

Playgroup

So back when I was pregnant - I took lamaze class, then after our babies were born, we had a moms group. On occasion we still like to get together. Some of us did so on Saturday. It was so good to finally have some adult conversation and catch up with all the other moms. I love hearing how all the little guys are growing, and seeing the changes. Its also great to know I am not along in how things are going here.
